Start with location
Lower-leaf yellowing behaves very differently from new-growth yellowing. Location narrows the cause faster than colour does.
Then check the root zone
Most yellowing in beginner grows traces back to watering cadence rather than the nutrient bottle.
Confirm before correcting
Adding nutrients to a lockout problem makes it worse. Verify pH and moisture before feeding more.
