Harvest & Curingintermediate10 min read

Drying and Curing for Quality

The final two weeks decide aroma and smoothness. Here is the environment to hold and why.

Slow is the whole strategy

A slow, cool dry preserves terpenes. A fast dry locks in a harsh, grassy profile that curing cannot fully undo.

Room conditions

Hold a stable, cool temperature with moderate humidity and gentle indirect airflow. Never point a fan at drying flower.

Curing cadence

Burp jars on a schedule for the first fortnight, then taper. Track jar humidity rather than guessing.
